MIST Admission Circular 2022 - Admission Form

MIST Admission Circular 2022 has been published by Military Institute of Science and Technology. MIST Admission Form 2021-22 is available on the admissions website admission.mist.ac.bd. Bangladeshi nationals who have completed HSC/GCE or Equivalent Examination (Science Group) from home or abroad are welcome to apply for admission to MIST Undergraduate programs (Engineering and Architecture). Candidates who are eligible and interested must apply online. Following the online application deadline, the list of qualified applicants and the admit card will be released. The admission exam will be conducted in accordance with the seat plan. Following the release of the MIST Admission Result, admission activities will be completed from the merit list and waiting list.

MIST Mark Distribution & Examination System

There will be NO Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ). Questions will be in both English & Bangla and applicants can answer either in English or Bangla. The marks distributions for both units are as follows:

S.S.C. / H.S.C. / Equivalent outcomes receive no credit. The merit list will be compiled solely on the basis of the Written Test. The minimum qualifying scores in the written exam for both Unit A and Unit B are 40%.

For applicants who completed their HSC in 2019, 5% (5%) of their marks will be removed from the written exam. Following that, a Combined Merit List (candidates who completed their HSC in 2020 and 2019) will be produced for admission and academic allocation.

Qualifications to Apply

SSC (or Equivalent): Applicants who completed the test in Science Group in 2019 and 2018 with a minimum GPA of 4.00 (without fourth subject) on a scale of 5.00.

HSC Examination (or Equivalent): Applicants who completed the HSC examination in 2021 or 2020 with a minimum overall grade point average of 17 in four subjects are eligible (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English).

GCE (O/A Levels or Equivalent): Applicants who achieved the GCE 'O' Level in 2019 or 2018 with a minimum 'B' grade in five subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Applicants who achieved GCE 'A' Level Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with at least two 'B' grades and one 'C' grade in 2021 or 2020.

Applicants for Biomedical Engineering must have Biology at HSC or Equivalent level with a minimum grade point of 'A-'/ GCE 'A' or Equivalent level with a minimal grade point of 'C'.

MIST Admission Form 2022

Submission of the Application Form Application must be filed online solely via the MIST website (www.mist.ac.bd). To apply, please visit this page. After successfully submitting an application, the candidate will be assigned a USER ID through email. With that USER ID, the applicant must send an SMS to 16222 from a Tele-Talk pre-paid mobile phone with the necessary balance. The application cost for UNIT A is Tk 800 (Eight Hundred) and Tk 1000 (One Thousand) for UNIT B and UNIT (A+B). The MIST website has detailed instructions for submitting an e-Application and fees. After successfully completing both, the applicant will get a password through SMS, which may be used to download the Admit Card.

Required Documents for Applying with Quota:

A. Liberation fighter Related Bangladesh Gazettes / Ministry of Liberation War Affairs temporary certificate / LalMuktibarta / Indian List / Certificate from Bangladesh Mukti Joddha Sangsad and relationship certificate with liberation fighter

B. Military Division (Children of Military Personnel). There are two conditions: 
(1) Servings: Certificate from the Organization's CEO or other authorized authorities.
(2) He is retired.

Officers are referred to as (a) officers. CORO / Naval Secretariat / Air Secretariat certificate
(b) Army/Navy/Air Forces JCO/OR/NC(E): Certificate / Service Record Book from appropriate Arms/Services Record Offices/Drafting Offices.

C. Native American. Certificate signed by the District Commissioner and issued by the local Upazilla Chairman.

D. All quota candidates shall submit the above-mentioned original documents (hard copy) to the MIST Admission Office by 22 February 2021 for quota authentication / verification.

If any incomplete/false information is discovered at any level of the entrance/academic process, admission will be revoked.

MIST Admission Question 2020-21

Usually mist admission question isn't tough as like other public engineering universities. However MIST is one of the best engineering university in Bangladesh. They emphasis more priority on discipline while other public universities can't do this. 

MIST Admission Result 2022

MIST Admission Result 2021 is now available on the admission mist ac bd website. The merit list and waiting list for the Bangladesh Military Institute of Science and Technology Admission Test were both released at the same time. Different merit lists and waiting lists have been issued for general quotas, military ward quotas, freedom fighter quotas, and tribal quotas. In the MIST Admission Result 2020-21, 357 candidates were selected in the General Quota, 248 in the Military Ward Quota, 12 in the Freedom Fighter Quota, and 3 in the Tribal Category for the Engineering Program.

MIST Admission from the waiting list will be completed when admission from the merit list is finished. Selected students must finish their admission within the time limit specified. After admission from the merit list is finished, admission from the waiting list will be completed.

Candidates from the chosen lists-2 are invited to apply for MIST admission from March 25 to March 27, 2021. (from 9 AM to 3 PM). The list of required documents and the admission schedule based on the Merit Order are provided below. Candidates must fulfill the Pre-Registration Formalities before arriving to the MIST for Admission.

When will the MIST Admission Result be published?

On May 5, 2021, the Military Institute of Science and Technology Admission Test was finished. On this day, written tests for A and B units were administered. Admission examinations were held in Dhaka and outside of Dhaka for the first time this year. Admission examinations were held outside of Dhaka in Chittagong, Comilla, Khulna, and Bogra.

At Bangladesh Military Institute of Science and Technology, only written entrance tests have been administered. It may take some time to review the answer scripts now that the written exam has been completed. In such situation, the MIST Admission Result will be released on March 16, 2021. The merit list will be published in two parts. For the Engineering and Architecture Units, a separate list of Selected Candidates will be issued.

MIST Result 2020-21

MIST Admission Result 2021 will be released based on the total admission exam marks. If a candidate receives 40% on the written exam, he or she is regarded to have passed. The results of SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations will not be accepted. Only written test results will be used to create the merit and waiting lists.

How to Know the MIST Admission Test Result?

MIST Admission Result 2021 has been published by Military Institute of Science and Technology. The MIST Admission Test Result 2020-21 for both Engineering and Architecture Units has been released. Several PDFs for General, Military Ward, Freedom Fighter, and Tribal Quota have been published. The waiting list for the General, Military Word, and Freedom Fighter quotas has also been published.

Online Pre - Registration Formalities
  • Before enrolling to MIST for admission, candidates must fulfill the Pre-Registration Formalities.
  • Candidates must access admission.mist.ac.bd by entering their MIST Admission Test Roll Number + user ID -I- Date of Birth. Please do not give out your login credentials to anybody else for security reasons. This may cause your account to be locked, the admission process to be delayed, and your admission to MIST to be revoked.
  • After logging in, applicants must complete forms and confirm their pre-registration. Candidates will be unable to download the necessary admission paperwork until they get confirmation. Following that, download and color print all forms accessible online in A4 format.
Selection Criteria for Admission
  • MIST Admission Result for Final Selection would be issued only on the basis of Written Test (100 percent ).
  • The minimum qualifying scores in the written exam for both Unit A and Unit B are 40%. Biology at the HSC or equivalent level is required for Biomedical Engineering candidates with a minimum grade point average (A-).
  • Biology at GCE or equivalent level is required for Biomedical Engineering candidates with a minimum grade point 'C*.
  • For applicants from the previous year (2019), 5% of their written exam scores will be removed. Following that, a Combined Merit List (current and previous year's applicants) will be developed for admission and department allocation.

MIST Eligible Candidates List/ Short List 2021

Only those who have been shortlisted will be able to take the admission test. According to the Admission Circular, the MIST Admission Short List 2021 was published today, February 28, 2021. The MIST Shortlist 2021 has been published on the website admission.mist.ac.bd. Two short lists have been published. One is for the 2020 HSC and Equivalent Examination, while the other is for the 2019 HSC and Equivalent Examination (For Second Timer). Due to increased usage, there may be a server fault on the MIST Admission Website. If you are eligible for the Admission Test, you may access the Admit Card by logging in using your user ID and password.
  1. Candidates who have been shortlisted for MIST Admission 2020-21 will be able to take a written exam. These candidates include those who completed their H.S.C. or an equivalent examination in 2020 or 2019.
  2. Two different lists of candidates (one for the current year and one for the previous year) will be prepared for the sole purpose of selection to participate in the written admission exam.
  3. The names of those who have been shortlisted will be published online on the MIST website on February 28, 2021. (www.mist.ac.bd). The Eligible Candidates Short List for both First Timer and Second Timer may be downloaded from the links provided below.

MIST Admit Card Download 2021

MIST Admit Card Download 2021 Bangladesh The MIST Eligible Candidates Short List for Admission Test 2020-21 has already been published. Military Institute of Science and Technology Admit Card 2021 has also been released. Only those on the short list who are eligible may download the admission card. Eligible candidates will be alerted through SMS when their admit cards are ready for download. Candidates may get their Admit Card after receiving the SMS.

Candidates can get access the admission card by signing in using their user ID and password. The Admission Test Date, Time, Exam Center Name, and Address will be printed on the Admit Card.

The admit card must be printed in color. The Admit Card should be printed on A4 paper. The admission card contains detailed instructions for the exam. If necessary, the Admit Card may be downloaded many times till the Admission Test Date.

Admission Test Seat Plan

The Seat Plan for Bangladesh Military Institute of Science and Technology MIST is shown on the Admit Card. To find your seat location, please download the Admit Card. There you can see your Center Name, Seat Location, and Address. Candidates must be at the Exam Center 45 minutes before the Admission Test begins. The Admit Card includes a map of the exam center's location. There will be no extra Seat Plans for the Admission Test 2021.
