The Fox Without a Tail - Completing Story
Once there lived a fox. He was very popular for his good looks and especially for his tail.
His tail was very long and fluffy, and the fur on his tail was very smooth and shiny. One day, he was passing through a route in the jungle. Suddenly, he fell into a trap laid by the local hunters. He got very scared.
He calmed himself and desperately tried to free himself from the trap before the hunters came. He somehow managed to get out, but he lost his tail. After his wounds healed, he finally came out into the wild. Having no tail, he felt very uncomfortable and ugly without his tail. His admirers no longer admired him as before.
He was very sad about this matter. But he was a very cunning fox. Day and night, he thought about how to calm his heart. At last. He thought if he could not be pretty with a tail again, he should make other foxes ugly somehow.
As per his plan, he called for an immediate meeting for all of the foxes in the jungle. He had a good image, so everyone gathered to listen to him. Almost every fox was present at his meeting. As soon as they took their seats, the cunning fox began to implement his evil plans.
He tried to deceive them all by saying that they really did not need tails. He said the tails are always dirty. It creates many problems while running and hunting, too. He said, "Look, my friends, recently I have cut off my tail."
It has been an amazing experience. I am so much faster than before. So I decided to share this piece of advice with all of my foxes. Everyone in the meeting was so convinced by his trickery that they agreed to cut their tails off. The cunning little fox thought his evil plan was becoming successful.
But an old and wise fox stood up from the crowd and said, "Your plan was very convincing." But you are not the only cunning fox. Dear fellow foxes, he is trying to mislead you: "He feels ugly and shameful without his tail, and he wants us to feel and look like him."
He also added that the fox was lying about cutting his own tail and that he lost it while escaping from a trap. All the foxes came to their senses and were very furious. The cunning fox without a tail fled with a heart full of jealousy after being defeated. Thus, the wise and old fox saved everybody from cutting their tails off.
